the games not all *that* bad, beats the hell outta most other MMORPG's and is really good if you need to kill time...

I think I'll stop speaking and cry now.

If they replaced the mindless rat races with FUN and added a dash of STORY to the game I can see it being worth the download.

Now they have a newbie training area called MC5 - pretty much tells you that you're a reformed subvert who was brainwashed by the City Administration to be a Reza loving Citizen of Neocron...

Anyway, the Dome of York expansion should be coming in the uh... er... coming weeks and they got a new storyline guy - so perhaps things will look better in the future?

I hope so...

but I'm too much of a wuss to complain or quit.

i beta tested it over 1.5 years or so and it aint that much fun, lots of buggy probs, even in the final.....
the ambience and the concepot are great though.

I dunno - least the fine folks at Reakktor media pay attention to what the forumites want, unlike *some* people who work for software empires...

Neocron is great. They have fixed many things since the release last year, less bugs and more content. I recommend trying it out.

Which is in a much worse state than Anarchy Online. Too bad there isn't anything to do once you get to level 50 and the PvP absolutely sucks.

Not to mention that there wasn't much real content in the game when it shipped.
