Ron Perlman As Hellboy

Post by Mad Max RW »

<strong>[ -> N/A]</strong>

<html><body><P>Our good pal Ron Perlman (Blade II, <A HREF=http://www.scifi.com/sfw/issue72/screen.html#tt target=_blank>A Town Has Turned to Dust</A>, Fallout narrator) is at it again with the upcoming movie adaptation of the comic Hellboy. I got word from Lunchmeat about this first picture of Ron from the movie:</P><blockquote><center><A HREF=http://www.sonypictures.com/movies/hell ... _photo.jpg target=_blank><img src=http://www.duckandcover.net/madmaxrw/he ... te><P>Very convincing. There&#8217;s more info on Hellboy at the <A HREF=http://www.sonypictures.com/movies/hellboy/hellsite/ target=_blank>official site</A>.</P></body></html>

Sorry for going off topic, but I'm a pretty big Ron Perlman fan. It's a bit of a stretch.

I never read the Hellboy comic before, but the movie sounds kinda cool. Hitler triggers the Apocalypse or some shit and a guy from Hell does...stuff. The flash cartoon at the website is a little vague.

Spencer Shultz aka Lunchmeat the attention whore. Kudos to the Hellboy team for going with good ol' makeup and latex instead of CGI for their main character.

Ok, seriously, I'm getting too many emails from people using their real name. At least put your nick at the end as a signature or something so the person getting credit is recognizable.

looks not half bad.

who/what did Perlman voice in Fallout?
suppose you're thinking about a plate of shrimp. suddenly somebody will say like 'plate' or 'shrimp' or 'plate of shrimp', out of the blue, no explanation.

brilliant, I always thought the guy who did that was very good. Now I know Perlman at least has voice skills (though I cannot pass judgment on his acting talent).

You should check out A Town Has Turned to Dust or City of Lost Children. Perlman is damn good in those.

I couldn't look at the official site (too lazy to upgrade Flash) but isn't Hellboy a Marvel comic from the 60's? And isn't there a PC game?
And yeah. I think Perlman is pretty cool but I've only seen him in "Alien resurrection" and "The name of the rose", guess I've to check out the others.

Edit: Heh, mixed that one up good. Seems like Hellboy is a Dark Horse comic and from the 90's.(Still running?) Cryo Interactive have a Hellboy game (Dogs of night, or something) that takes place in the 60's. Sorry for the misinformation. *Hangs head in shame*

actually, i hear that there will be absolutely no CGI in the entire movie, for anything (although im sure there will be digital imaging adjustment in post) Rick Baker and the guy who did "mimic" are doing all the make-up effects.

that would be badass.

i'm not sure who publishes Hellboy but as far as I know it is not a 60's comic. Mike Mignola is responsible for it and it's been around for just a few years now and going strong.

Not to mention he narrated most of the Fallout games intro's. :)

That is why this new crap console game from Interplay will suck, b/c they probably won't even have Ron Perlman doing the intro voiceover.

He did it for Fallout, Fallout 2 and Fallout Tactics...

Hellboy was summoned by nazis during WW2, but fought for the allies. Now he works in some special paranormal thingy, and solves OCCULT MYSTERY thingys, like killing zombie giants and shit.

I liek Ron Perlman, he's like that mexican guy who's always the mexican guy
