New Layout At No Mutants Allowed

Post by Mad Max RW »

[ -> N/A]

Veteran Fallout site NMA got something of an overhaul today. It looks pretty damn good to me. Miroslav explains:

There it is! He, I hope I did a better job then Interplay, well, if not... At least I'm not exploiting the franchise. Oh, and there are no secret sections with pictures of naked NMA and DAC staff playing mud wrestling...

I won't accept any feedback, I'm not interacting with community, but if you see any errors in layout, links or something else, just drop me a mail, or leave the comment... Thanks much!

Damn, I had my fingers crossed for those mud wrestling pics…nevermind.

i was on there earlier and it looks good, but in places like the NPC descriptions for FO there's black text on black background.

It's still a little clunky, and I despise the font they're using on the main page. Still, it's better than the old green-and-black cliched look. A definate improvement.
suppose you're thinking about a plate of shrimp. suddenly somebody will say like 'plate' or 'shrimp' or 'plate of shrimp', out of the blue, no explanation.

I don't really like the color combination, but the effort is nice. Goodluck to yo-yo at the otherside yo-yo.

Groovy,

I like the menu bar at the top, but that retro-brown is kinda offputting.

I'm just knit-picking on this but, someone cant spell brahmins pooperly :cry:

Good job tho, I like it.

cliched? NMA are the guys that started it aren't they? Well, they were at least one of the first ones to copy it from Fallout. Which is kinda what game sites do... that is to say, they copy the games they're based upon. Like how a Lionheart site kinda uses the colours of Lionheart etc...

Uh, black and green are characteristic of a lot of game sites out there. A layout that's original (DAC?) works a lot better.
All I'm saying is that some people can't think of anything half original.

I think that layout at Vault Dweller's Home Page is also original.

Give me a list of 20 decent fan sites (akin to NMA) that are non-fallout related that use green and black colouring and I'll be happy that you've proved your point.

Fallout = Green and black.
NMA = Green and black.

Makes sense to me.
