Ugh....well what I did say was :

Yes on the last thing you said. 'Nomenclature' is the word to use. Though technically most games NOT first person are indeed third person, since you're seeing your avatar rather than being the avatar, 3rd person contextually refers to the relationship of the camera to the character( Hitman2, Draken, TombRaider, SplinterCell ).

Games viewed from a 'birds eye view', such as those in most RPG's or RTS's are also called "top down, 3/4 or gods eye view". Again, though techincally third person, this more clearly defines the view the game is expected to be played in.

3rd person is more closely related to 1st person, which is why many games offer one or the other as a viewing option in the same game.

Oh well...thats more or less what was in my missing post. :D

Cheers

Heh, wtf? And yeah you're pretty darn close to what you had written EvoG. I mean given you hadn't posted that statement about our posts dissapearing I wouldn't have noticed :P

To Killzig now:
It seems all posts after a certain time are gone though... As if a backup of the DB was used because it screwed up or something... Any troubles reported from the web host?

Ve are fiktim of a timevarp!

Well, my last argument was something about me saying that I DIDN'T necessarely mean it to be a "skill" I just called it "communications skills" and it's up to them to impliment it with a perk/skill or some kind of deduced stat derived from them (like the Critical Hits are derived) where (I beleive) you thought I meant they should ADD a new skill which wasn't (necessarely) the case.

I don't know if you added anything after that as I went to bed afterwords...

My $0.02. If you have an analogue controller, you don't need autotargetting, because the player should be able to move the stick as fine or as wide as required. Autotargetting in a game where most of the challenge lies in being able to shoot your opponents is pretty fucking weak, but it's not like we've seen any other signs of intellect from the FO:OMFGLOL team.

no this one was easy cause it was at the same data centre. you probably noticed a large slow down when it was going on yesterday afternoon. The real move will probably take an evening of down time. We'll let you guys know ahead of time.
