Polish People Love Fallout

Is Fallout like the national game of Poland or something? I think there are more Polish Fallout sites than English ones. It seems to me that Shamo doesn't have news in English but surely they have most popular forum in Poland - all active polish sites have there own thread).

Yeah I don't have anything real to contribute to this thread other than i'm quite impressed with your avatar there Kaczor, I LOVE Beksinski, he's my absolute favourite artist ever. He's polish isn't he? Ok, so that nails it, the polish love Fallout, they have Beksinski, I'm moving to Poland.

Well, i wouldn't call Shamo a competition, since it has mostly the Fallout community news, not about Fallout itself.
And it's a Polish Fallout Community hub - Shamo forum is used by almost all the Polish Fallout fansites (SAD, 13S, VDHP, WR, F2C, FMC - have i missed any?).
Although i tend to forget that there's actually a site beside the forum

I also speak the Polak tongue (rather miserably). Fallout is pretty big over there, from what I remember. Every couple of years, some popular gaming magazines used to give Fo 1 & 2 out as bonuses.

heh.. most of the Poles I know tend to speak English fairly well anyway, but all of this Polish community stuff is, I'm afraid, in Polish

Yup, that's true. Almost everyone here has Fallout, although many have never played it. Still it's very easy to get it and I guess that's why it's popular. (besides the fact that it's the best game ever)

Heh, the frontpage looks a bit like DAC. It's nice to see a growing number of non-english fan communities, even though Fallout is over 5 years old. There's a lot of fans especially in eastern Europe, and modders. Let's just hope the fan community stays clear of FOBOS jerks.
