Help With Fallout 1/XP

Post by trythebill »

Hi I tried to install fallout 1 on my XP system using the article on No Mutants Allowed and it works up until the videos at the beginning start playing, if i try to skip them the screen that the video would be playing on turns green and freezes until i press escape and the whole thing closes. Any help would be much appreciated.

Try moving the mouse... Fallout sometimes seem to 'color' the screen in one tone and you need to move the mouse to 'erase' it. Hard to explain, just try it

you are running the shortcut in win98 mode, right?

(i dont think you need to do the "manual install" with win xp, just the shortcut thing)
