Fallout File Extravaganza!

Post by Kreegle »

<strong>[ -> N/A]</strong>

I'll admit it, I've been a bit slack when it comes to updating the site with the newer Fallout files that have been floating about... my bad. But thanks to the constant hounding and complaints from Ausir, I've decided to pull my finger out and UPDATE! Yay. Enjoy all of these locally hosted files:<blockquote><em><b>Fallout Files</b>

</em>"Enclave Interactive's Fallout Ammo Patch"<em>- by Locutus.

This patch fixes the armor piercing ammo problem in Fallout.

Download: <a href="/fallout/files/fo1ammo.zip">here</a> (3 KB)

<b>Fallout 2 Files</b>

</em>"Enclave Interactive's Fallout 2 UK Patch 1.03"<em> - by Locutus

An unofficial patch that fixes / changes <a href="/fallout2/files/enclave103patch.txt">a whole list of things</a>.

Download: <a href="/fallout2/files/f2patch1.03-uk.zip">here</a> (3,026 KB)

</em>"Enclave Interactive's Fallout 2 Polish Patch 1.03" <em>by Locutus

Same patch as the one above, but for the Polish version of Fallout 2.

Download: <a href="/fallout2/files/f2patch1.03-pl.zip">here</a> (260 KB)

<b>Fan Fallout Files</b>

</em>"Fallout 2 City Limit Patch v.1.02d"<em> - by TeamX

This patch removes the hardcoded maximum limit of 49 worldmap locations in Fallout2, such as the towns, villages, bases and special random encounters.

Download: <a href="/fanfallout/editorfiles/f2_city_patch.zip">here</a> (27 KB)

</em>"Fallout 2 Debugger patch"<em> by Noid

This patch turns on the debugging mode in Fallout 2.

Download: <a href="/fanfallout/editorfiles/f2debug.zip">here</a> (4 KB)</em></blockquote>Phew. Thanks for the kick, Ausir!

You could also add the TeamX mapper to the Fan Fallout section, since it's more user-friendly and easier to use for some things (although does not have many options the official one has).

The only thing I give to the Dim's mapper (other then being an amzing work of reverse engeneering) is that it allows you to edit more data in the instance then the official mapper does - though how useful that really is is still unknown :P.

There's also the small point that every map I made with the Dims Mapper successfully crashed the official Fallout 2 Mapper whenever I opened them and tried to save.

That's how you can tell it works! :D
Obsidian:
Now working on Fallout: New Undermountain!

They promise to spend only a year on this title - only a year less than the original Descent to Undermountain!
