It isn't a big budget rts or anything. Just a bunch of guys trying to get into the industry. Although, the mechanics of the game are beyond anything I've ever seen. Trash kinda reminds me of Enemy Nations, but not as tedious and annoying.

I can't find anything new about it. The last update to the homepage was in December. I don't know how the rest of the DAC staff feels about Planet Prison, but I think it deserves a little attention. That is, if there was something to post...

yeah, hope they don't end up like 'Static' and 'Pinbox team' Static looked better than PP - gee-zus all these calendars, notes, lil dirty bits n pieces, oh weren't they sweeeet! but the demo wasn't TREMENDOUSLY absorbing. PP doesn't look THAT nice, but they might - in turn - just make a more enjoyable game with a cool atmosphere, gamepley, and lots of nice things. Let's just hope they do. Some competition for BIS might just do some good to the final shape of Fo3, don'che think?

its a little less "trashy" but i think it would look a ton better if there was more detail where the biuldings met the ground, they look like they are disconnected and such.

What's the deal with rolling green hills in a post-apoc world?

Anyways, it looks fairly okay. I think they would do well to have the camera a bit closer to the ground, though.
How appropriate. You fight like a cow.

Actually, Inhuman are the guys that made Allegiance for MicroSoft. Didn't read our interview with them about the game, Max? Tsk. Tsk.

what the fuck is with thing 'genra' apocaliptic means gone, destroyed, fucked into non-existance, its a catch phrase, stop using it.

Secondly if a game could be deamed 'post-appocaliptic', to be considered post appocaliptic the world would need to remain near total destruction, so why would 1-4 players be in the possition to take control of an army blow each other up, there could be no organisation or conscription. there is no way that these masive wars could break out considereing that in a 'post apocaliptic' there would be no communciation between these 'major powers' and there for no oppertunity for conflict.

Finaly where did all there cars and swanky buildings come from if the world has some how survived the 'appocalipse'. this comment isnt just directed to trash, but all those games that would use the catch phrase post appocaliptic, come up with somthing new

Planet-Prison's website is now a 403 forbidden the last news on them was gaining a publisher back in March. The website doesn't work at all for me ... http://www.planet-prison.com/

and the whois info is pretty much useless. Looks like another one bites the dust.
The answer to your first question is shaddup.

The humans in this game are basically junk dwellers who cobble their buildings and vehicles together to fight against the other sides. They're not making new things and developing technology so much as they're scavenging it.

The mutant forces are higher technology, in that they're capable of making things. I believe the machine forces are capable of making new things as well.

Mutants and machines also use humans as a resource, BTW.

A lot of the mechanics of the gameplay sound interesting, like the requirement for supply lining. I'm interested in the game simply because the answers to the questions in the interview I did with them appealled to me.

The graphics look a bit like Warcraft 3, not sure if that's a good thing. Some of the game mechanics stuff sounds interesting, at least in the interview, but interviews usually tend to give a more positive picture of the game. Not a big fan of RTS's, but at least I'll try the demo first.

Ya, actually Im in the beta for trash, its a little complicated thats about my only complaint also the graphics are a little rough. I have to admit though its been shaping up alot lately. I have some hope for this game although I dont think it can de-throne frozen throne, the real thing I like about this game is the developers though, they obviously care a great deal about the game and the fans, check this from email.

"Dear Beta Tester,

Would you like a free copy of the retail Trash? Any beta tester
that gets 10 wins will receive a free copy of Trash when it goes
gold. In order for a win to count, it must be from a rated game.
Rated games are ones that involve real human opponents, not computer
ones. Any bug report you submit, or have submitted in the past, will count as one win."

Now why cant Sony follow this and give me a free swg for playing their beta?
