Puuk confirms FO3... sort of :)

Post by Ausir »

[Game -> Update]

Black Isle's Puuk said in <a target=_blank href=http://forums.interplay.com/viewtopic.p ... rt=45>this thread:

Sorry we can't be more specific, but with the rules discussions that Josh and Briarus are throwing around, you can pretty much guess what we're working on - at least I hope you can. we cannot officially announce anything at this moment. Besides, wouldn't you rather we announce the game when it is passed the pre-alpha stage and not get burned out on the hype if we announce the game a year or two in advance?

Any more doubts? :)

Spotted this at SAD.

Let me put this quick and simple:
YeeHaw !
They're finally doing Redneck Rampage 2, aren't they ? :-)))))

Oh my, just another 2 or 3 years of waiting and discussing (and spamming about fobos) and then, after a lot of dissapointment we will finally have fo3 in our hands. Though i know it now, i can't really grasp it.
Sometimes something goes terribly wrong. The Big Bang, for example.

puuk? What's his real name / what's he done?
suppose you're thinking about a plate of shrimp. suddenly somebody will say like 'plate' or 'shrimp' or 'plate of shrimp', out of the blue, no explanation.

What's the difference? Either :

1) They make a Fallout 3, and it's crap, and they stop making more
2) They never make a Fallout 3, and everyone complains that they don't, forever
or 3) They make a Fallout 3, and it's good, making them make more, or maybe they leave it at that, ending the series nicely

So, anyway, the series isn't ended nicely (especially with fot and fobos), so making more can't hurt any more than it already has been. Let it come, and sure it could be bad, but oh well, only one way to find out - that's to play it.

*kicks skeptics in the eye* Ouch. It could, in theory, be FOT 2.

Oh well, the stench of Fallout 3 has heavily been upon Van Buren ever since they announced that project name. They have never denied it's a new Fallout, that's a sign. They have also openly discussed about skills and stuff at IPLY forums with no attempts to camouflage their posts. And now this. This type of non-concealment would have never happened under Feargus Urquharts rule. A good thing though that they attempt to listen to their fan-base. It's our duty not to suggest anything stupid. Or get banned. ;)

A tactical game developed internally at BIS? Please make it stop.
atoga wrote:puuk? What's his real name / what's he done?
Damien Foletto. Funny how many BIS people have Italian names.
