Can't Install FO1.

I can't install Fallout

When I try to I get this msg.

Then this.

I tried looking in that thread about problems installing Fallout but I never found any mention of my prob.

Please help. I am using WINME.

Were you using autorun? have you tried opening the cd manually and running from there?

try a manual minimal install, if that works, go for the full manual install.

did you check to see if falloutw.exe was actually there? you could put it there yourself. its called fallout.___ i think, and you just need to change it to .exe

OK I went into the CD and selected the install program and installed the humoungus installation. It didn't install the actual game because I still couldnt play. Is my CD damaged? It seems unlikely because both my FO1 CD's are doing this. Any more help would be appreciated.

you need to go over to www.nma-fallout.com and look under here http://www.nma-fallout.com/fallout1/art ... tall.shtml this should take care of it, and remember to check you monitor settings under Properties->Settings->Advanced-> Troubleshoot->turn on hardware acceleration to full. this should work, i had the same problem.
