HUGE PROBLEM with fallout 2

a week ago i had a problem with my computer and they had to delete everything i had. When i reinstalled my game it wouldnt let me play it. Now, when i click the game launcher, it just shows a fallout loading screen and then pulls me out of the game. Does anyone know what i should do?

Reinstall, patch, check directx... that's what comes in mind.

lol i had the same exact problem, but maybe i didnt, well watever it didnt show fallout in my task bar screen but if i hit alt + tab it was there... you might want to try that

i have ME. I have direct X 9. Fallout 1 and Tactics work fine, so i dont think its any of those.
