I can understand a little of their covering of "associated titles", it's a lot better than "Inbred Gamer's Network", IGN.
That still doesn't explain the utterly shitastic Bishop Sawyer interview, however.

Obsidian:
Now working on Fallout: New Undermountain!
They promise to spend only a year on this title - only a year less than the original Descent to Undermountain!

In order of the underlined:Ghouls - Ghouls are the unfortunate, zombie-like descendants of the few people who survived the nuclear war above ground. They?re the same size and build as normal humans, but rotting and diseased. They often wear rags and bits of armor - more to keep their bodies from falling apart than out of any kind of modesty. An age of evolution under harsh conditions has made ghouls pretty resilient. They seem to neither eat nor sleep, and they can withstand massive doses of radiation with a shrug. Their decaying flesh will practically burst when struck by any normal attack. But having your organs pour out of a hole in your side is a normal occurrence for most ghouls, so the damage has to be pretty extensive before they?ll really feel it.
- They're not zombie-like in anything other than appearance.
- Funny, I thought they were Vault12 dwellers.
- This explains why the humans don't wear much clothing, no modesty and all. It wasn't the ghouls that were strapped together in Fallout either, it was the Supermutants.
- You have to have offspring for evolution to be involved.
- WTF? They don't sleep or eat? Then why are there beds in Necropolis for them? Why do they have stashes of food?
- Again, WTF? It's so normal, it was never seen nor mentioned in Fallout, Fallout 2, or Fallout Tactics!
More proof this game is based on Fallout Tactics rather than Fallout or Fallout 2.Roaches - After a nuclear war, the only winners are the roaches. Found mainly in underground areas and sewers, these creatures can usually be found in fairly large groups. They feed on the dead ? but will go after living creatures if isolated. When attacking, they leap through the air and claw or bite a targeted creature - dodge quickly to avoid these flying pests. Their numbers are usually their greatest advantage, but they are additionally very mobile.
This is why ghouls shouldn't sleep with radscorpions, I guess.Glowing Radscorpions - Similar to normal radscorpions, glowing radscorpions are a bit more ferocious and much more radioactive. They?re so radioactive ? they glow (naturally). That means that just getting near these creatures will cause you some damage, and their claws will cause damage by radiation as well as their tail stinger.
Anyone ever gotten radiated in Fallout by standing too close to a Glowing One? No? Hrmph.
This has to be the dumbest idea ever. Firstly, just because they can spit doesn't mean their claws would shrink. They may not use them for combat as much, but it's hard to spit once something gets right up on you or beside you, so those claws would still be needed for attacking. They're also be required for burrowing and other daily scorpion routines.Spitting Radscorpions - Spitting Radscorpions are a step sideways on the evolutionary ladder from normal radscorpions. They have developed the ability to spit radioactive venom at distant targets. As a result, their claws are severely under-developed, used only for protecting the spitting radscorpion?s head. Spitting Radscorpions are usually yellow in color with a bright red coloring on their back and legs.
Hey, look, they saw some screenshots of FO2.Deathclaws - Deathclaws are just about the nastiest creature that you might have the misfortune to run across in the wasteland. They?re fast, they have tough hides, and their claws punch through most armor like a power drill going through wet cardboard. These creatures are large - about 2-3 times the size of a normal human. In color, Deathclaws are usually a dark reddish-brown, though they may tend towards a lighter grayish hue.

AAAA My eyes it burns, it burns and I'm not talking about the 1337 radioactive venom.
Everything looks like a fucking robot

Holy shit, not even an acne-ridden 12-year-old prepubescent boy would think those are cool. Not to mention their overall polygon / rendering quality and graphic appeal and whatnot is terrible. On top of that, why does that ghoul have some lame evil villian's cybernetic eye? Not cool. And why does it look like the radscorpion has been badly fingerpainted?
suppose you're thinking about a plate of shrimp. suddenly somebody will say like 'plate' or 'shrimp' or 'plate of shrimp', out of the blue, no explanation.
Because that ghoul is an evil robot ghoul send back in time to elliminate the hero of the game before he can turn back the tide of war. Head my words, this is going to be their secret back-up story when they find out their plot sucks bigtime.atoga wrote:On top of that, why does that ghoul have some lame evil villian's cybernetic eye?
He who keeps the old akindled and adds new knowledge is fit to be a teacher.
