Road Warrior Forever

Post by Mad Max RW »

[ -> N/A]

Several months ago one of my favorite sites dropped off the radar without a trace. Road Warrior Forever is the best Mad Max tribute site out there. No other site can compare. From the image archives, to the way it expresses the spirit of the movies. Luckily it came back online recently, but today brings depressing news:
<bockquote>To all max.org visitors and all who've found inspiration in the pages of this website, it is our sad task to tell you it's creator, S. Geoffre was killed in an auto accident on January 5, 2003.

We who are her friends mourn her loss, but believe the energy of her beautiful spirit lives on. The new owner of the URL was kind enough to permit it's use to restore the max site for a little longer - however, this wonderful site will have to be shutdown by the end of June - mid July. Please keep her spirit in your thoughts... (for those who would like to send a message while the site is still functioning, we are working on restoring the e-mail function)

If you haven’t seen RWF do yourself a favor and check it out before it disappears.

A thought for S. Geoffre from me.
=(

Hmm is it clear that it's the hosting that's the problem? It might be that the current owners want it down for good...

If DAC picked up that site, they could probably get a lot of money in ad revenue or what not if it has such a big fan base.........
