More fan art

Post by Kreegle »

<strong>[Community -> Update]</strong>

We've got more fan art rolling in, which is brilliant - today we've got another five bits of post-apocalyptic art to gawk at: "Lonely Warrior" and "Tribal Warrior" by <b>MudzhyJ</b>, "Post-Apoc" by <b>JJ86</b>, "Old Wanderer" by <b>Lunchmeat</b>, and finally, "A Thug" by <b>MorGan</b>. Check 'em out:<blockquote><center><a href="/gallery/gallery.cgi?func=show&file=200908&Category=100018&Page=24"><img src="/gallery/categories/Fan_Art/Images/thumbs/Lonely-warrior-s.gif"></a> <a href="/gallery/gallery.cgi?func=show&file=200909&Category=100018&Page=24"><img src="/gallery/categories/Fan_Art/Images/thumbs/tribal_warrior-s.gif"></a>
<br><a href="/gallery/gallery.cgi?func=show&file=200910&Category=100018&Page=24"><img src="/gallery/categories/Fan_Art/Images/thumbs/jj86PostApoc-s.gif"> <a href="/gallery/gallery.cgi?func=show&file=200911&Category=100018&Page=24"><img src="/gallery/categories/Fan_Art/Images/thumbs/oldwanderer-s.gif"></a>

Yeah, she is real. I talked this girl into posing for a post-apocalyptic photo shoot last year. I didn't get too many good pictures out of it but I'm glad you liked it. I had a few props that I scavenged and even rented a smoke machine but didn't play around with that too much. I'll see if I can post a few of the others that I took.

Is there any post-production involved? My wife bought a digital camera so we`re trying to learn more about digital photography and image editing, anything you can say would be usefull, i spend a lot of time on art and photo sites and believe me when i say that´s a really good pic.

This is an interesting image & I'd also love to see any other shots in the series that you conscider to be up to par. I like the effect of shadow & the cold inquisitive look almost asking. "Yes & what the hell do YOU want here?"

Good work

Briosafreak: I took some with digital but most are on film that was scanned. No post production work it was all with the lighting and colored gels on the lighting. I have a pretty good studio set up. I know some about digital photography and photoshop so if you have questions I can probably help ot point you in the right direction.

Insane Lark: I'll see if I can post more from that series tonight but I have plans on getting more post-apocalyptic photo shoots in the near future. Stay tuned!

Props were a nerf gun from a thrift store for $2 painted black, a gas mask borrowed from a army surplus store, a chemical suit bought from a science surplus store for $15, and styrofoam panels painted dark gray.
