I was playing yet another game of Fallout and when I arrived at junktown I did all the quests except for busting the skulz. When I first talked to Vinnie he didn't give me the option to join them. Then I went and killed Gizmo. When I talked to Vinnie again he kept asking me for the urn. So I stole it and told him I had to do some stuff before we killed Neal. I ratted them out to Lars and told him I would go with him to the bar. I saw Vinnie get killed and gave back the urn. Then I went back to crashhouse and there was Vinnie! Back from the grave. I repeated that process and he always came back. I just ended up killing him and the rest of the gang.
Now has this ever happened to anyone and how do you bust the skulz?
Damn! 8O That's just weird... I've updated my FO and such thing never happened... Wow... Well, don't you just gain Reputation boost if you kill the Skulz *again*? So it's just a good thing! Oh, and you do get the "bust the skulz"-quest done, don't you?
I never completed the quest because Vinnie always came back. THe gaurds that Lars sends up to the bar stayed in place too. Everytime I went back up with the gaurds the previous set would still be there. When I finnally got tired of it there was like 12 gaurds at the bar.
Another thing, when I went back to the bar to get Tycho, there were 4 members of the skulz gang there and Neal was nowhere to be found. All the guards were still there though. I had already killed all the skulz at the crash house, but there they were telling me to get lost at bar.
Another thing, I went back to the bar, and Neal's guns and some stims were lying on the floor were he alwasy stands. The skulz were gone though. When I went to pick up the stims, the bar went tranperant, you know like when you are behind something, and there was a dead guy in a vault suit lying under the bar. When I clicked on him all it said was blood, and the was nothing on him when I searched the body.
As a matter of fact it does have a bunch of scratches on it. But they're all near the edge. I don't know I'm never going back to freaky ass Junktown in that game anyways.
I always get that girl to rat them out. You talk to her in the hall at the Crash House, then two days later she's moved to a nearby room. Talk to her again, convince her to testify, then talk to Lars. This is the last thing I do in Junktown, and never come back, so I don't know if Vinnie and friends reappear in the Crash House.
Oh, and you do get the "bust the skulz"-quest done, don't you?
