What about the other ... factions?

Discuss the game that started it all, and its sequel. Technical questions and issues go into the Fallout Technical Support forum, not here.

The absolutely brilliant Earth Abides by George R. Stewart, a 1950's sci-fi novel (or maybe late forties), deals with humanity descending to the level of tribals after an epidemic destroys almost all human life on Earth.
How appropriate. You fight like a cow.

So typically you! :D

I agree with Dramuck. Either choose a location with new factions or keep the location and it' s original factions. But god, don' t add a new superpowerfull organisation that no one ever saw coming and is now threatning the whole wasteland. That sounds like crap! (or you' d better have a darn good reason why no one ever noticed them or saw them as a threat untill it was too late)

I say, move the setting a bit up north like Fo2 did to it' s predecessor (err, how do you write this?) and devise some new factions. Or move it east towards Darwin City, or.....

What ever happened to Reavers, featured in FOT? I kinda liked their culture and their sense of technology. Or is it just me?

The general consensus is that FOT simply doesn't count.
