What would please Saint, Rosh and all purist
there can possibly be many other experiments not listed on the bibles, there are just a few, as examples. i hate them. but, vault-tec was a necessary (with double s?) evil.

like 110-120 some?were vaults nationwide? because there would be nearly infinate possibilites/doubles of experimental vaults if they were all across the country.
(unless they are not very close together, and in that case there would be only a few, how many did the bible say there were? 60 or more?)
they were just made for the US, and that's reasonable, cause it costed so much, and for many other interests. but , and i'm just guessing here, US could have made one or two vaults for allied nations, or in exchange for gas. Or, other countries developed their own vaults. i wonder the japanese ones...
that was just what some guys (and i, if i can find the time) were creating a fallout campaign on south america, but that's just another story

I have to agree with Gareth's point about a lot of those experiments being foolishly considered by the designers who came up with them. There's really no good way to set up some of these experiments, like the one mentioned about the children, without people knowing they're experiments.Rama Stryfe wrote:Didn't they band Canada from building Vaults?
Anyway, Vault-Tec and what they did was to see how humans could withstand isolation... I think in one Vault psychotic causing gases were releases... Another, weapons were stored and no locks... In Harold's Vault, just children....
Sickos!!!!

and also it is very unlikely that the US would "trade" vaults for gas/resources.
for one: we could sabotage those vaults,
two: they could undermine our vaults due to the release of the technology used within them,
and three: would the us really care about any other country's citizens at that point in time? (no! that oil is mine!)

one: that's true, but that's a way of controlling the other vaults, or making experiments with them.Strapon2 wrote:and also it is very unlikely that the US would "trade" vaults for gas/resources.

two: uhm... then not the built vault, but the tech to make them.
three: indeed.
but, what other things the us could trade for resources to the other countries? of course, the vault project was top secret, that's why everybody knows about it.
what can their allies trade for in exchange of resources, if not security for them?
uhm, but the other countries are smart enough to make shelters for themselves.

If FO3 was nothing but the same old rules. I'd be happy with new adventures. If it ain't broke as they say. But still I can agree with some ideas about improving the game. Still, myself being a reactionary bastard I am. Would want to maintain as much faithfulness to the first two as possible. And oh yes. Turn-fricking-based!
I can agree that single player should be the focus. However I'd really really really, someday. Enjoy a co-op for 4 players to play a full-fledged story sized campaign. Someday... maybe.

As far as I've seen, Japanese cars are less reliable than GM/Ford. Too much under-engineering.stomp wrote:Jap vaults would probably be more reliable.
