i think they both kinda suck, but hey, whatever. first is drawn with too thick of a pencil...
and second just seems out of proportion.

I'd say pretty decent.
You've got the hang of the details, but like you said, proportions.
You'll get the hang of them soon enough though, if you want to learn ;)

In the game, there's no real detail. Simple, form-fitting brown boots is all that I can see.
suppose you're thinking about a plate of shrimp. suddenly somebody will say like 'plate' or 'shrimp' or 'plate of shrimp', out of the blue, no explanation.

I like the second one more even though its not so full of stuff. It has and idea - and its a funny one.

Imho the guys are too tall.
Btw the face looks nice in the second picture and i like the details on the geck.

he hasnt gotten to the enclave yet (there are 2 you know :o )

i thought that the geck was lacking detail... hmmf. ill just draw some more.
