You have to install some red woosh DL manager just to download the trailer, because IGNs cool like that. DaC host it or is it too big of a file?

It's 66 megs. DAC's servers don't need that kind of crap. And besides, it'll be all over the Internet by morning.

Its a superb trailer, bar the subtitles.

Hopefully the next trailer will show off some of the much vaunted RPG aspects of the game.

yea, i wonder how communication/dialog is.

and i wonder what the perpose of killing things is... i can understand killing the mutants (though it did not show it) but why was he killing other stalkers? or is that just irrelivant because this is not the final game? (i guess other stalkers can have some nice items on them ;))

there are diff stalker clans, there is clan warfare over resource spots and money etc.

You can apparently join them and double cross them etc.

That was a very cool trailer, moreso because it still looked good when resized to fullscreen.

Excellent, I have to say that game is looking a+ right now. I love the part where it transitions from a real movie clip into the rendered part, you can't even tell.
The interior scenes even look as nice as Doom 3, surprisingly. The shadows are badass and the texture quality is astounding. I can't wait for this game.

yes, the world detail is insanely... uh, real!

i really hope they do something about the view models... i just think they look like crap. (the models themself are good, but they look bad)

it looks nice but I haven't seen anything gameplay wise to be all that excited about yet. Their demonstration of physics was also rather poor. Let's show you what esssploding boxes do! K? The AI doesn't look too smart. Anyhow, I'm still going to play this. I'm just not as excited as I was, and this trailer definitely didn't do anything to help that.
The answer to your first question is shaddup.

it had the greatest lighting effects i've seen in a game yet. just look at those textures RAWR! the scenes from the movie are still pre alpha so lets hope they fix that AI. but who really cares about ragdoll effects. just one big hype if you ask me.

but still a very promising movie. i'm definitly planning on buying this. anybody know if gsc has plans for multiplayer?

I've heard that there is supposed to be co-op multiplayer, which is why im so excited about the game.

*edit: I look at the game's website and it is listed as one of the multiplayer modes*

Damn insane graphics, look at the wet carrelage in the interior of a building, crazy! I must admit the AI looks like crap, but maybe it was actually some multiplayer? so they moved for the purpose of the trailer. The grass is superb and the mutant is so freaky. I can't wait to actually learn about the singleplayer 'campaign'

But what kind of computer we are gonna need to run that game with the highest graphic detail?
