Question regarding weapon effects.
As far as things like smoke grenades or tangle grenades. Where in the editor do you find the categories that govern these effects for the weapons (ie:reduced perception for smoke)? As far as ammunition. I made a 40mm stun grenade and made the damage type stun... it didn't really stun them. It didn't really do much of anything out of the ordinary. What gives?

One of the problems with weapons in FoT is that the Special Damage is controlled by the weapon, while the Damage Type is controlled by the ammunition. So while it's possible to set up a weapon that does different types of damage with different types of ammunition, the weapon is always limited to one type of Special Damage. So you're stuck with a Needler Pistol that poisons the target regardless of what ammo type you're using, and if you want a grenade launcher that stuns the target you're going to have to set up a new type of grenade launcher to do it.Burnov wrote:As far as ammunition.
