<strong>[Community -> Update]</strong>

Thanks to <b>atoga</b> for pointing this one out to me, but if you'll check on <a href="http://www.nuklearpower.com/redmage27.php">this page</a>, there's a guy who emails the editor of the site with this:
<br>
<br><blockquote>3. The single most life-affirming and incredible PC RPG ever created, the Fallout series, was never made into a pen and paper game. Who is responsible for this crime I ask? Who could possibly let such a money-making opportunity slip away? Well I decided to make one myself. After searching the internet for weeks, I came across someone who had made the attempt, and failed miserably. Where he failed, I did succeed. I have created Fallout: A Post-Nuclear Role Playing Game: Pen and Paper Edition. The trial run of the game will be launched this coming Saturday. Hopefully it won't be as bad as the final season of Perfect Strangers.</blockquote>
<br>
<br>The editor replies:
<br>
<br><blockquote>3. They made this too, it was packaged with Fallout 2 when it first came out and was made with the D20 system. Sound neat? Well, good luck finding it. A friend of mine has been searching for it forever and hasn?t even come close. If anyone out there does find it though, scan it and send it to me. This is important.</blockquote>
<br>
<br>Well, that'd be awfully damned funny, since <a href="http://www.interplay.com/fallout2">Fallout 2</a>(1998) was designed with SPECIAL in mind, some <b>three years</b> before d20(2001) was released. So, <b>Tim Howell</b>, if you're reading this, <b>Red Mage</b> is a complete idiot. There has never been an official port of <a href="http://www.interplay.com/fallout2">Fallout 2</a> to the d20 system. Ever. That's probably also why <b>Red Mage</b>'s friend has never found the damned thing, it <i>doesn't exist</i>.
<br>
<br>Next time you want some information like this, email someone who knows something about the subject. You'll save yourself a lot of hassle.

The sad thing is, imagine how much of a killing Steve Jackson Games would have made if Fallout used GURPS off of GURPS PnP Fallout rules. That would have put GURPS on the map.

Instead, now Steve Jackson is licensing out GURPS to text based MMORPGs.. HAH! HAH!

i might be missing the point,but when i got fallout tactics (special edition or somthing) where was a pen and paper battle maker thingy, i never played it tho, and theres nothing wrong with Red Mage, hes just incredibly nerdtackular and full of useless shit.

on another note, thanks for those 50's ads on the site they made my english assignment on 50's ads heaps eaisier

There has never been an official port of Fallout 2 to the d20 system.
And thank fucking god for that...!
d20 is nice and all, but Fallout is worth more than that!

I also wonder if his friend exists.

And don't blame me for reading that comic, a friend pointed it out to me.
suppose you're thinking about a plate of shrimp. suddenly somebody will say like 'plate' or 'shrimp' or 'plate of shrimp', out of the blue, no explanation.

Yeah, well, this is a guy whose definition of RPG includes the words Final Fantasy.

Anyways, the only PnP thing Fallout 2 came with was some Alternity quick-start rules thing, Alternity being a sci-fi game from TSR that flopped pretty hard and pretty fast.

And finally, okay, so some idiot wrote something stupid about Fallout on some site. Is this really newsworthy?
How appropriate. You fight like a cow.
