OMFG! that was awesome. Was that a real safty video, or a joke? I think the guys who did "dead alive" must of been part of the effects crew. A lot of Evil Dead type shots at the end there too :) Good Stuff!

Holy Jumpin’ Fuckin’ Jesus! That was enough gore for an early Sam Raimi or Peter Jackson movie! Those Germans really know how to make an effective, and darkly funny, safety video. I couldn’t understand the German, but I think the message is to always look out for a Klaus at one’s workplace.

They show this on Channel 4 (UK tv) once every 3 months or so, in the early hours, cant remember whether it was dubbed in english or not.

Its one of those independent films, they get shown late at night when noone exept me is watching.

So I guess its a joke, unless its meant to work like one of those gory American public information movies about car safety from the sixties.

Damn, and I thought the forklift drivers at the Wal-Mart that I work at are bad. At least they don't have a body count! :D

Thanks for the link, Dingo.

Having seen it, defeating the Germans in WWII no longer seems to be an accomplishment.

Yeah, but subtitles would be nice.

I saw this film on Canal+ ages ago. It's pretty good. Starts like some weird children's program:

"Klaus has just earned himself the degree of a forklift driver. Forklift drivers must be very careful in their work. No, no, Klaus, remember what the manual says - don't pull the lever when someone's behind you!" yadi yadi yadi.

Still, it's decent enough.
