They seemed a bit stupid, like going into that tunnel and shit. And they could have at least got axes or some shit, mabye even take some stuff from a MUSEUM LOL

I've only seen the first half, but it was good if you didn't think about it. And they could easily have driven there quicker, but he was irish so CAN U BLAME HIM lol jk

this apparently after 28 days of riots, chaos, panic, hording, pillaging, death, destruction, mayhem?

lot of serious flaws in the movie but they still couldn't take away from the overall feel and atmosphere

They're currently hyping up the 'second ending' here in the states... I was kind of hoping it would pick up after they reach the blockade, only this time, no soldiers, just a transmitter and alot of corpses. Oh, and NO FUCKING COP-OUT DEATH for the father (both the infection and the elimination). That really pissed me off to no end.

Oh, and while I'm ranting, why weren't the <i>carrion</i> birds infected and batshit crazy like everything else?

Why did Frank leave his riot gear at the apartment? If he were wearing it, surely he wouldn't have gotten infected.

Beleve me it better be alot better than the alternitive ending on the Brit DVD. Other wise the Americans are going to be well pissed off.

Was frank a cop or a cab driver? I'm guessing they said at some point but I mised it.

And it occurs to me: if the military guys were wearing riot armor and chem/bio suits, the infected would have a hard fucking time getting to the creamy nouget center with all that ABS plastic and kevlar. Just sayin'.

I think Frank could of been anything. The likelyhood of a officer is higher in my eyes due to the fact that getting the armor (assuming he didn't loot a police station) can be quite a tough one for your average city goer, made evermore difficult by the many infected now in the city.

I was also amazed when a dawn of the dead shopping spree ensured and no one locked or guarded the doors! Daylight maybe?

While I screached at the TV over and over about the stupidity of the cast and its camping out doors later on, my girlfriend made a good point.

It's only a movie.

He was a cab driver, by the way, they mentioned it when he went down into the garage and got his cab. He started the meter running even, as a joke.

Dont read this if you want the ending of 28 days later spoiled =).

I read about the alternate ending (darker ending) in DAC news. I had just seen the movie a few days before so I went to see it at a friend of mine who has a DVD version, but the alternate endings menu on that was just from the camera flying over the hills and water and all the scenes with Jim were cut out. It didnt show Jim dying, just the black girl (cant remember her name) talking to a chicken and then they put the big "hello" out on the grassy area. Is that the alternate ending...?

Same here...

The pilot in the plane was talking finnish btw.(But the plane he was flying wasnt the type that finnish army uses... If I remember correctly)
What he said when he noticed the "Hello" was:
LÃƒÆ’Ã‚Â¤hettÃƒÆ’Ã‚Â¤kÃƒÆ’Ã‚Â¤ÃƒÆ’Ã‚Â¤ helikopteri = Send a helicopter.
