Where to get good portraits

Post by seraglio »

Hey delving into making zars and trying to find some good source material but falling short on anything 'in theme'. Got some good pictures of Morpheus and Trinity (I dont like Neo). Also found that Star Trek Borg make great Reavers, and got some dudes in chain mail coifs for recruits wearing metal.

Any advice on pics for mutants, power armor, ghouls, etc. Any one have some nice ones they want to share? There has to bee a site with just sci-fi portraits for other games, like all the sites for portraits for Baldurs gate and whatnot.

I guess you could look at sites that have avatars or just use the Google image search.

Hehe got all the portraits I need now. Between www.scifi.com and the various 'professional' wrestling sites I got all the portraits of weird lookin dudes I need lol. mullets fit right in a post apocalyptic theme. WWE wrestlers make great portraits. The "Rock" is now my heavy gunner, whoever the hell that is.

Guess Ill have a portrait pack out soon as long as no one has problems with copyright issues. I imagine they are all real people, though I wouldn't have a clue.

Rock=Scorpion king

There was a pack of Wrestlers portraits actually already made, so I guess you made some extra uneeded work there, but that's ok.

Cheers,

Here's a site I just found you can make some custom portraits, printscreen them and use them to your hearts content.

^ Try here and NMA site files sections. There are multiple, so you'll have to unpack each one.
