You would get a headache looking there. The only bag I know of in FO2 is the one under the outhouse in Modoc (but I could be wrong). Here is a pic thanks to Nuke 77.

Nope, you're not wrong, Larkie. That is indeed the only bag in FO2. (Small wonder, bags as implemented in FO/FO2 generally weren't worth the headache since they gave you the ability to organize your inventory a little bit at the cost of putting those items out of reach of a "Use Inventory Item" command -- very bad in combat -- while costing you some weight.)Insane-Lark wrote:The only bag I know of in FO2 is the one under the outhouse in Modoc (but I could be wrong).

Someone posted somewhere on DAC about using the bag as a "satchel charge". You place armed explosives in the bag, and drop the bag next to someone that you want to kill. According to the poster, the victim only "sees" the bag, and does not react to the dropped explosives. I haven't tried it yet.
I'm not insane, I'm just misunderstood. Unless I misunderstood the meaning of "insane".
that's the exact reason that i want it, just to mess around with blowing people up.Blarg wrote:Someone posted somewhere on DAC about using the bag as a "satchel charge". Blowing up people is cool.
I kept trying to do an assasination style blow up on Tandi in NCR (reverse steal planting explosives on her) - but after she dies it keeps crashing. But if I kill her in combat everything is fine.
Afterwords I did take out 3 NCR cops with a single AP rocket, that was pretty sweet. My record is 4 of the Wright Kids from Reno with a single rocket.
Back to the explosives though - how do you time multiple plastique and dynamites to go off simultaneously? Do you set 1 at say 1:00 and plant it - then set the next to :55 or something? I never seem to be able to time it right.

That's a common problem w/the game when planting live explosives on people. The usual solution is to turn your Violence Level to the lowest setting, so you won't get the amusing death animation, but this keeps most machines from crashing.mrhandy 2.0 wrote:I kept trying to do an assasination style blow up on Tandi in NCR (reverse steal planting explosives on her) - but after she dies it keeps crashing. You can also try leaving the map before the explosives detonate. As soon as you leave the map the timer expires, so you can immediately re-enter the map to check out the results. This method also causes some machines to crash, however.
Unfortunately, there's no way to "daisy-chain" charges so trying to synchronize them the way you've been trying is the only method and then very unlikely for it to succeed.mrhandy 2.0 wrote:Back to the explosives though - how do you time multiple plastique and dynamites to go off simultaneously? I haven't tried it myself, but would it be possible to plant multiple explosives and then rest? I suppose even it does work it would count as an exploit.OnTheBounce wrote:Unfortunately, there's no way to "daisy-chain" charges so trying to synchronize them the way you've been trying is the only method and then very unlikely for it to succeed.
Literacy is overated.
at the end of FO2 i had about 5 plastiques so i just planted all of them in the reactor computer room, and left. worked like a charm. (i had recalled planting an explosive by the computer and having it not work, so i just used them all to ensure it.)
so it would be best to plant 2 or more explosives on one person to make sure they die in one bombing.
