TeamX created a patch for Fallout 2 that enables this encounter, though it's still hard to find. You can find it somewhere in DAC's files section.

I got a random encounter of the knights of the round table they were looking fo the holy hand grenade

You were originaly supposed to get it in the knights of the round table
encounter but they took it out for some reason.

Wrong.

You're supposed to get the Knights encounter. Then, this ought to activate a very small chance of finding the cave of the rabbit and the Holy Hand Grenade. However, due to a bug, the latter encounter never made it in.

TeamX has fixed this.

I believe you get to keep the grenade, it does about 300-400 damage.

As for Monty Python encounters, they sure are a blast, especially when I hear people in public recite whole parts of the movie that are also referenced in the game. Here I thought easter eggs were suppost to be subtile.
