Wastelands demo released

[Game -> Update]

What do you get if you cross Fallout with Terminator and a top-down shoot-em-up? A bloody demo of <a href="http://www.reflectorstudio.com/showgame.cgi?gameid=6" target="_blank">Wastelands</a>, that's what! No you silly rabbit, it's got nothing to do with that <a href="/oldwasteland/about.php">ancient RPG thing</a>... this is Wastelands with an 's' at the end! It's different! OK? Can you handle that, punk?!<blockquote><center><a href="/news/wl_big04.jpg"><img src="/news/wl_big04-s.jpg"></a></center></blockquote>Well, the demo is only 6.9 meg, and I didn't go blind playing it (it was entertaining enough for the 5 minutes I tried it), so <a href="http://www.reflectorstudio.com/redir.cg ... t=6">check it out</a> and embrace the radioactive robo-thingies. GameSpy: What is a Kreegle? It sounds like a new style of potato chip.

Kreegle: A Kreegle is just a twisted part of my imagination - nothing in particular, really. I just needed a unique name as a login one day (I've forgotten what I was registering for nowÃƒÂ¢Ã¢â€šÂ¬Ã‚Â¦) and for some strange reason "Kreegle" came to mind. Someone told me once that there was a Dr. Kreegle in some comic book, but I've never seen it. Kreegle-Kut potato chips sound promising thoughÃƒÂ¢Ã¢â€šÂ¬Ã‚Â¦

He's the main man, our commander in chief gone AWOL & called by life change focus. He's the Yin to Killzigs Yang & balances us into a whole. He's the gentle reasoned voice in the violent & outspoken crowd. He's slow to anger but unwise to cross. He's the man behind the scenes helping to get things done. He's moved on & we're somewhat lost without him. Time to find a new shape. Don't know if we'll suceed without balance but we'll try with the headlong charge against insurmountable odds of the new Fallout titles & see if we can affect a change for the better.
