Fallout: The Movie
Alright, I think it would be hella cool if they made a Fallout movie. Anyone with me? There would be all of the violent fight scenes, some dream-like flashbacks (to pre-War times, maybe?), and the satirical humor of the series. Perhaps Hollywood would be interested...

Non of em' above. Hmmm hooowww about Edward Norton... Mel Gibson would have been great for that part in the late 80's. And ou... does anyone have any information about Mad Max 4 ?

yeah i would have to agree, must games that they made into movies sucked major ass. Examples... Mario Brothers :x Final Fantasy had good graphics, but still it sucked. If they did make a Fallout movie they would probably slaughter the story and pump out a movie even the fanatics wouldn't go see.

If they did make the movie, I'ld suggest Lucas Haas. Start of with a goofy kid and end it with a torn-by-experiences kid.

I voted Arnold but I also think that Olivier Gruner would be a perfect vault dweller, or at least play a significant role in the movie, Gruner kicks ass.
And saying... most movies based on games is true, their are a few exceptions though, Mortal Kombat was decent as an action movie, and Resident Evil is good as well. I liked Resident Evil because it wasn't based on a part of the game we had seen before.

It's true that movies based on games have sucked, but Fallout is different. All of the other movies (Mario, Mortal Kombat, Tomb Raider) have been based on very cartoonish videogames. The Fallout series is anything but cartoonish, and it has a rich atmosphere all its own. With the right talent, I think it would translate very well to the screen.

Woody Allen as Tandi! They do look alike, well a bit that is.

None of the above, actually. But I don't have any idea either on who should play the main character... but I have a pretty good idea who'd play a good Killian though. Are we thinking the same thing?
If they made a movie based on fallout I assume it would look and feel alot like the movie Madmax with Mel Gibson(I think?). That movie was great for its time and portrayed the same apocalyptic feel as in the Fallout series. Aside from it being based on a game(which is usually utter, unfiltered horsecrap), I think it would be a pretty good idea for a movie.

Arnold's pretty old. He might make a good overseer.Jack_Deth wrote:I voted Arnold but I also think that Olivier Gruner would be a perfect vault dweller, or at least play a significant role in the movie, Gruner kicks ass.
Yup, out of all of them, there's only two that are decent really. Off the top of my head..And saying... most movies based on games is true, their are a few exceptions though, Mortal Kombat was decent as an action movie, and Resident Evil is good as well. The Bad
Street Fighter
Mortal Kombat Annihilation
Tomb Raider
Mario Brothers
Wing Commander (Which had a rich atmosphere, voodoo4936 )
I'm sure I'm forgetting some, but all those were really bad.
Oh, and while it's not just a computer game, that Dungeons & Dragon movie was pitiful as well.

Arnold would be ok, the only problem is that people would fixate more on, "oh another arnold movie" more that the wonderfull atmosphere and storyline that is fallout. It would be better to get someone younger....and really cool... hm.... Westly Snipes from blade?
Woody harleson perhaps?
ok... i got it... Ricki lake!

Damn you, posting pictures of that guy should be banned.
The movie would probably be terrible, but I would say Johnny Depp for Vault Dweller. Only because I have an unhealthy obsession with the guy though.
