Need a couple Unique Faces

Post by PaladinHeart »

Anyone here that can help me out? I need a couple rather unique faces. I need a deathclaw that looks more intelligent than deadly (but not to the point of looking goofy.. he's still a deathclaw). I also need a comical looking ghoul. The ghoul in question has a bad lisp so having something wrong with his mouth would be nice.

I basically want a couple unique portraits. I also want them to be as much like the original FOT portraits as possible (I want them to blend in as much as possible, unlike most of the portrait packs that are available).

I also need a pious-looking African American face (preferably with mustache) and a robot face, although I can probably come up with those two more easily than the former.

Hey there. I have about 150 .pngs sitting around now. Dozens of ghouls, but only one good deathclaw looking creature with no nose horn. Send me an email on jordansg@hotmail.com and ill zip em up and send em out. Put something about fallout in the subject or I make mistake you for spam.

Also they are all photos, so you may want to 'dehance' and soften them if you want them to look like drawings like the FO stuff. I'm not a fan of the original artwork, I've replaced it all.

If you notice, in my map in The Refinery I used an element from a screen shot as a portrait for the computer SlaveNet. I've found that this method works very well for minor characters, since it has much the same feel as the non-talking heads did in the RPGs. This has the advantage of matching the portrait up to the in-game representation of the character.

I have also used elements from screen shots taken in the RPGs for some minor characters in missions based on settings from the RPGs. None of this has been released yet, but I think it a nifty enough trick to warrant mentioning here.

Cheers,

OTB

Thanks for the suggestion OTB. That may work for a few characters but I rather like portraits for my PC's :)

I'll have to consider using that for machines and certain encounters. Especially if I have trouble finding faces.

Which is why I suggested this: to help cut down on the need for original portraits.
