In fantasy rpg i usually play a Dwarf. I love those rowdy lil' bastards.
My charecters are usually the silent huge kind that dont usually vare if what they do is wrong or right. In fallout i used a shotgun as long it was possible without losing the fights. I really like shotguns.

Anyone ever use the name of famous actors, authors, people from the past for character names? I usually do because I'm not very good at making names, and it becomes kinda interesting.

when i played adnd, i used a bard, and named him like axl rose, but i changed rose for my name spelled backwards, so that's the origin of my nick
"From the greed of the Campbells,
From the ire of the Drummonds,
From the pride of the Grahams,
From the wind of the Murrays,
Good Lord, deliver us."

Never really thought about it.

Now that I do though I think I almost always make a neutral type "I don't care" character but always end up helping everyone and becoming the savior of some city/country/faction..

Guess you can't shake your nature, heh.

I pick names that have a double or triple meaning (OMG telling names), or use unchanged/ slightly changed mythological names

- Lazarus for a character designed in a way that he just wouldn't lie down, no matter what was thrown at him

- Yale for a guard/ emissary of a temple of wisdom

- Thompson for a modern day gangster

I usually call them after things, like clock, hands, book.

Very imaginative. Sometimes I put Dr., Mr. or Mrs. in front of it too. Very Kubrick.
