Music....I listen usually to Unwritten Law, a little bit of Grinspoon and Silverchair. Some Red hot Chilli Peppers whenever I hear it on the radio (damn, I need cash to buy one of their albums).

I like listening to Guns n Roses and metallica myself, although you cant go wrong with Iron maiden, Iced Earth and Rage Against the Machiene

Well, anyways... Heavy, Death Metal, Black Metal, Hard Rock etc. have taken a big piece of my personality and that burning mark can't be washed off... :twisted:

And IMHO, Rammstein is more like Techno than real Heavy.

The lyric of the song i was referring to by the way did have ''ein mensch brennt'' in it. Its based on a crashlanding that happened quite a while ago in a german community called ''Ramstein'', its what they nicked the band after

From this list : Rammstein. But I only love their Herzeleid album, quite like Du Riecht so Gut and pretty much find Live Aus Berlin an ok listener.
I absolutely fucking hate Mutter, though. Since they started doing that commercial mohawk/make-up crap their music has gone down with them.

Apart from that...Blind Guardian, Iron Maiden, Stratovarius Dark Tranquillity Grave Diggger,Iced Earth, Rhapsody, Bal-Sagoth...a plethora of others. In the Rock department...I like alot

Not to stray into my interest in Techno (amateur stuff, mind you, not the Trance version), I also like pbscure Guitar solo artists.
Igor Belsky (find him on mp3.com) is great, to name one. And some guy I can't remember who does Celtic fingerstyle guitar.

I tried a bagpipe tune myself..but using melody strings to emulate the drones while bassing out the chanter is pretty hard.

I picked Bush, because Sixteen Stone is a really good CD, even after all these years.

System--ehh. Red Hot--pretty good. Tool--only heard one song, but not bad. Rammstein--never heard their stuff. Pixies--never heard of them. I tend to lean more towards Top 40, much as I hate to admit it.

Have any of you heard of the norwegian band "Satyricon"? ("Norsk Black Metal!" as Red Warszawa would say...)

One of their songs ("Hvite Krists DÃƒÆ’Ã‚Â¸d") has jokingly been said to be the national anthem of norwegian black metal...

In Extremo are quite good as well. Metal + Medieval Music = Good!
