I seen on the news yesterday that an asteroid could hit earth and kill us all.It said that the chances of it hitting are 1 in 909,000.But if it does the world will be like fallout.The remaining survivers would rule the earth.

I'm not too bothered about the asteroid, the chances seem a little on the slim side.

From what I her the asteroid is just going to land dead smack in the middle east and we'll all live happily ever after.

What's the worst that could happen?

If the asteroid was big enough, earth would break apart/blow up. And everyone would die.

If the asteroid was the same size as the one that landed on/near the yukitan peninseula, almost all plant life would die, and I'm guessing so would a lot of people.

If the asteroid was smaller than that, nothing major would happen, just a ton of dust in the air for a long time that might cause some regional problems, but no massive destruction and extinction.

If the asteroid was even smaller, nothing really major would happen at all, just a really cool crater.

and any smaller than that and it would burn up in the atmosphere.

Holy crap people. John Titor (supposedly) actually predicted that an asteriod would scare the hell out of everyone, but it will miss.

That's fairly easy to predict. I can remember at least three occasions in the past five years in which the media cried "omfg astroids".

There was one that was HELLA close to earth a few years. The funny part was that we didn't see it until it passed us.

But yeah, on the time-travel subject, all that John Titor stuff has to sit until proven (In time.).
