Looks fantastic. One thing though, it looks like his under arm is thicker than his upper arm. Or it's just me.

You're a very talented artist, Briareos. How do you make this things? Draw them by hand, by computer, paintbrush, what? It looks like it was drawn by hand, then added some light with a computer editing program, but I could be wrong.

Brilliant artwork.
Perfect proportions, nifty details, and an atmosphere/lighting that just makes all of it *right*!

Cool lighting effects Briareos. I think your use of it is getting more advanced than some of your earlier stuff where mostly you used flat colors. Any new stuff on your site?

Lasse, the best thing to do is to study other artist's work and experiment to try and mimic their effects. Rembrandt has great lighting effects but one of the artists that has a great use of lighting is Vermeer. Sometimes the use of shading and light makes more of an impact than proper proportions. If you practice building a drawing from the shadows rather than starting with outline linework you can get a better feel for the three-dimensionality.
