As every true gamer knows gameplay > graphics

No, we don't criticise FO for it's graphics--mostly because it's graphics are damned good. Excellent art, smooth animations and lovely interface.

Fallout and Fallout 2 aren't console action games, either. Console action games require fairly good graphics, because there really isn't that much more to them other than that and button mashing. Look at Halo, which is over a year old now, and then look at the graphics in this trailer.
