Combat Armors
Combat Armors
How many regular Combat Armors are there in Fallout 2 and what were their locations? They weren't really a dime a dozen in that game, were they?

Yeah, combat armors are a regular thing in San Fran. Just make sure your barter skill is high, they are pricey :)
Or you could just steal all your money back.
Try and empty the clips of the guns in their inventory. I think it makes them get new items quicker, so it might lead to more combat armors. Also, the armor they sell is usually on the table right in front of the shopkeeper (the one to the right of the entrance).

Well, since the CNPC appearances in Fo2 don't reflect what they're wearing I figured you weren't in it to make a fashion statement.Mr. Green wrote:You can read minds, over the internet? Cool super power, OTB.
Yes, the suit in the Toxic Caves is a Mk II.Mr. Green wrote:There might be one in the Toxic Caves, but there's a nagging feeling that it's Mk. II. (I'm still in VC, so Narrovo is a way off, if you don't want to be a cheap bastard.)
The merchant in NCR, inside the city, also sells some. He should have a suit the first time you get there, so that should be three suits right there, counting the ones I mentioned earlier.

I believe the best Dr. is the one in Redding. He is from Vault City so I guess that pretty much settles that :)
The one in San Fran will implant them but it doesn't work for the advanced ones as far as I know. So I guess it doesn't work there either.
Not to mention the redding doc has the best prices as well.
