Is this fast?

I'm getting 1mbit Down DSL and 128 upstream, is that pretty fast? it's all that I can get.

I think it's 128 upstream, anyway. I am paying $30 a month for it and was curious as to if i'm getting a good deal.

Listen shit-bird, I know jack shit about DSL or broadband for that matter since I've NEVER EVEN HAD IT. The company near me finally brought in DSL and said the only thing available is 1mbit down and 128 upstream, I don't know how fast "128" is compared to what I have now.

If anything you have an inferiority complex and feel that somebody asking a simple tech question about something they don't know shit about is in some way "waving their dick around."

Also for your information dick stroker, I have not posted my specs at all even when Smiley asked me to just to avoid being considered a show off. I posted them once or twice when I was ASKED and never at any other time, so pull your head out of your ass and stop feeling sorry for yourself.

Instead of being a douche bag maybe you could have answered my question on how fast that actually is to like a 56k or something that I currently have.

I looked on the website and it has a stupid bar that only shows download speed not upload.

1 MBit is somewhat standard now... When I'm moving over to my new apartment I'm living next to a company, and I'll share their 48Mbit connection.... now *that's* fast.

Lewl. SBC is hosting their DSL out of 2 condos in my town. I now must move directly above them. Then, I can drill a hole through my floor, and connect a Gigabit LAN to their server, thus giving me a grand total of.... 1000 times faster than DSL!

EDIT: T1's actually go at about 1.5 Megabytes, not 1.5 megabits. Atleast, that's how fast one of my shool's T1s goes at. Funny, how easy it is to convince a techie to set one of them solely for our use in the CAD lab. The school thinks we need radeon 9600 pros, DDR-333, and P4-2.2s for CAD. They dont even notice that Battlefield 1942- SWoW, RtC Wolfenstein, and DoD are installed...
