How do you mean you can't see them in the editor? If you attach them to an entity then you'll not always see them in the preview window, it's a bit bugged. Try double clicking in the sprite path, sometimes that makes them appear, or saving and reloading. Failing that attach them to your entity, and add the entity to a map and then load up the map. Then you'll be able to see them. If you just want to look at them download Redviewer.
If you are having problems finding them to link to an entity move them to the sprites folder, then you won't have as many directories to go through to get to them.

ok.. Just figured how to use them, just few seconds after posting this
Bur on question these waepons do not look like the weapons in FO & FO2, like the Bozar, or does it look like the weapons in the inventory not on the ground!

What about with weapons when you hold them or with armor when you wear them? My favorite armor in FO2 were the robes, now because of OTB, god bless him, I can pwn raiders while wearing sic robes like I did in FO2. But if you wear the FO2 robes and fire a FOT weapon how will it look?

Unfortunately while you can make an armour entity using the robes sprite you will look (in game) like you are wearing either leather, metal, environmental or power armour. Depending on what type of armour you set the entity to. These sprites are just inventory sprites and not animated character sprites. If you want to look like you are wearing Robes (in game) you'd have to swap the BOS Elder sprite with one of the other character sprites, i.e. LeatherMale. The trouble of doing this is the BOS Elder sprite has no animations for using weapons, so you would be limited to unarmed attacks and you would have to either release the altered sprite with your mod (making it a very big file to download) or include instructions of how to extract and rename the BOS Elder sprite.

Don't put them in the core/entities folder, but rather in the core/sprites folder. They should show up then.

Thank you for the sprites OTB. They should be a great help in my future campaign editing endeavors :)
Also, all humanoid characters have unarmed AND throwing animations. So you could have the elder sprite and use throwing stuff for him. I guess they can pretty much do everything a deathclaw can.. except climb ladders :-/
Oh.. they might not can crouch and stuff either. Maybe they're more like dogs? But dogs can't throw of course.
The Elder sprite can crouch and climb. I guess it's the BOS Elder race, like the Pipboy race, that can't do these actions. Changing the entity's race to Unique Humanoid, or renaming the sprite to use as one of the armours will allow the use of these actions.

I unzipped my spr-sprites_0 n put it in the core folder, then i unzipped the 3 files n placed them in the spr-sprites_0/sprites folder.
use entity editor to edit baseball bat , save it as baton. tried to change the sprite under image, but there's nothing in the sprite.....

Hmm if I'm reading your post right it sounds like you've unzipped them and then added them to the spr-sprites_0.BOS file? You just need to unzip OTB's files to the core\sprites folder you should then be able to see the sprites.

edited my baseballBat n sniperRifle and save as baton/baseballBat2 n m40a1Rifle , edited the text for both items , but when I test it on my test map , the description is still the old text. where did I went wrong ?
p.s. the sprite is ok , but the description doesn't change.....

Did you edit the text for the original items or create new lines of text in the items.txt file? If the latter you need to change the display name of the entity.
The display name is case sensitive and must match exactly with the name you used in the text file.

Where did you add this in the items.txt or in the speech file for the mission? If it was in the speech file then you'll need to import the speech file into the map before it'll show up.

kekeke , actually I forgotten to edit the display name at the entity editor. now everything is ok already. it's been a long time since I created some new weapons.
