GOD DAMN IT. This sucks so much. Just because some asshole couldn't wait a month we have to wait for them to rewrite a 1/3 of the source code and wait 7 more months.

Well, since I have yet to get a job and have absolutely no source of income, this is somewhat of a relief for me. By the time it come out I will be 16 thus able to get a job almost anywhere. But I still have to wait, I have mixed feelings about it I guess.

What point is there to stealing the source? All I can think of is hacks, which DEFINITELY does not justify stealing the source.

strapon, the game was already nearly ready and stable and stuff. Now, they need to fully rewrite the stolen portion of code--that means new opportunities for bugs and such. This doesn't really affect the final game's stablity at all.

Not really, you can recreate the game with the source code, though it will be pretty useless for online play.

Source code wasn't deleted, they could download it if it was btw, they have to rewrite most of their code to prevent online cheating and some other things I believe?

People want HL2 now, and they'll probably want it later as well. The worst thing that could happen to them, is if they screw up Dai Katana wise....

Valve, you better hurry up =/ ...
As for cheating.. well, screw fixing the game for the sake of that..! Anti-cheats will pop up eventually anyway...!
