Sulik and Jet
I told Sulik he could use "any drug any time". Big mistake. Now his carry weight is 50 and it's been like that for a long time. Any idea on how to cure his add? I tried using the antidote on him but it did nothing.

If not, you can get Jet Cure from somewhere. NCR, maybe? Anyway, somewhere you can find some Jet Cure, so try looking for that and give it to him, if you think that might be it.
Also, sometimes you gotta pass your drugs off onto your NPCs (entering Vault City as a non-citizen comes to mind).

Whoa... manners, Fetus, manners. *chuckles* Those suggested solutions actually help, at least they worked for me when I had been stupid enough to get my NPCs addicted to a large number of drugs.

Fine... Fetus here's what you should do...
Go to San Fran...
Check the pharmacy store...
There should be a brown bottle labled "Jet Antidote" or something similar...
Buy it...
Feed it to Sulik...
NOTE: Sometimes the dickhead who owns that store doesn't sell the antidote... In this case, you have to wait a while and check back. (I think it may actually only spawn after a certain number of days, but I haven't confirmed that).
Of course you could force him to go cold turkey for a while, but that's boring, plus the antidote is used in a few quests, so it's good to get a few bottles
PS: I seem to be having memories of Myron being able to cook up a cure... but I forget... Anyone have any info on this?

Dark Machine - I don't know why you think I'm a dark depressed person because I made my login Fetus even though I admit I could have came up with something better. I'm sorry. I'll take advice when I need the advice being given. Sorry but I didn't say thanks for nothing in the way you thought I said it. I said it like someone would say thanks anyway even though that's nothing I don't already know. Sorry.
Franz - Why is the owner of the store a dickhead? And yes I know theres a jet antidote in SF.
Stainless - I made the jet cure, but I never really understood how to solve the jet problem in New Reno, because that's where the quest is listed under. Are you suppose to tell McClure in VC about it after you make the jet cure? Or someone in Reno?

Damned limitations of a written medium. But then that's what they invented smileys for, isn't it? To spare us the trouble of spelling out things like tone and body language in overly redundant ways...Fetus wrote:Sorry but I didn't say thanks for nothing in the way you thought I said it. Am I the only one who thinks the internet really needs a standardized sarcasm-smiley?
