Signs of a future Superpower
Hey trythebill & everyone else for that matter-
China doesn't have to move troops into the USA. They are already here, they're called 'sleepers'. The Russians have them as well. Don't tell me my fellow Americans haven't noticed how there are a hell of a lot more Russkies around than say, pre-late 80's? It's not a conspiracy, it's a fact.
Did you know that one of China's military corporations owns the Long Beach harbor in California? Good 'ole Comrade Clinton made sure it became available for their purchase. For those that may not know here is a VERY brief summary of German infiltration in some instances in WW2: German corporations bought harbors(wharehouses?) in the countries that the military was going to invade. Then actual military personnel were sent to those countries as immigrants or tourists. They then met at the predesignated place, picked up uniforms, weapons, etc. then, you guessed it, Germany now had a fighting force already in-country. Rinse, repeat. Some tactics never lose their favor with certain mindsets. You gotta admit, it is a good plan.
WW2 history buffs: please feel free to fill in anything I left out.

china also owns the panama canal. as for the u.s. based sleepers I wonder just how effective they would be against a populace of which the majority chose to own arms. I imagine it would only be a matter of days before "bubba" takes to blasting everyone even remotely resembling a chinamen. Germany may have carried out their infiltration plan very well in european countries, but america is very different in the culture of weapons. I believe, should war break out and there is a significant chinese "sleeper" force most americans age 40-70 (many of which are hunters and veterans) would not hesitate to take arms against the invading forces. america still remains a tough nut to crack for any country in the world.
China has a multi-million man standing army.
America has 70+ million citizens proficient in the use of firearms.
I think we could take care of any conventional invading force.

Well, if they do plan to invade, they better prepare for a massacre, and a defeat. They won't win. Not when we have the strongest military in the world backed up by the largest navy and air force and that being backed up by thousands of nukes. As for Germany, they did invade, but we got them before they could do any damage. Ironically enough, the mafia helped the US government take them down, for nothing in return.
Haha, a bit gullible are we, yes? The mob does nothing for free. It' s not because they say it that way that it might not have happened without your knowing.Crusader wrote:Ironically enough, the mafia helped the US government take them down, for nothing in return.
As for a war with China; once either faction starts deploying nukes you would have already lost the war, both factions. This ain' t 1945 and surrender will not be an option from that point on. Many nations would take sides with eiter faction and use their own nukes or want a piece of the pie for their own. So before you start talking about using nukes in war think about all the major cities you would lose in turn as a reprisal for your own use of nuclear missiles. It' s a no win situation.

Concerning 'sleepers' and 'Bubba': This is why there is a strong anti-gun organization, their purpose is to facilitate the removal of firearms from the USA. Once that goal is achieved or nearly achieved as in England, I wouldn't be suprised if those 'sleepers' woke up.
I know that total gun control is many years away; you must understand that the true commie hardliners think long-term, very long-term. They are quite aware that they won't be here to see the plan come to fruition. They are however doing their part.
Nukes: It's a shaky subject, only those in charge know when they can actually be used. Based on what I've read, they are a last resort especially on U.S. soil.
As for America's military: Your army can only fight if it is in fighting condition and it is on the land that the battle is taking place.
In a 'sleeper' situation, they wake up, take over their designated targets and start rounding up civilians who have already been profiled for max resistance(Red Dawn, anyone?). Meanwhile, the military is being mobilized to reclaim those targets, that is the units that aren't suffering from some subtle germ warfare agent that isn't designed to kill, just wear down someone's natural defenses. Those that do make it back to the good 'ole USA now have to engage in urban warfare upon U.S. soil. Any target reclaimed will be mostly destroyed. We might reclaim all targets, but the damage suffered will be incredible, the economy will be shit; we have troops engaged in Afghanistan/Iraq and it's destroying the U.S. economy now. Imagine a scenario as described above.
Now you're saying to yourself,"Well at least we re-took the U.S., man!"
We sure did, but the U.S. is now a severely crippled nation.
And the commie hardliners will smile, 'cause they'll wait for when America again forgets why firearms are an important part of its constitution.
I just re-read everything I wrote. It's probably my longest post. Anyways, I didn't make up the above scenario. It's all based on what I've read from publicly available government files, non-fiction books, etc. I've been reading stuff like that since junior high school.
What? Stop looking at me like that!

Ok, so you're saying that its going to be simple to defeat us. Blah! If we do use nukes, like I said, its when we are hit first, run out of troops, and/or we are invaded. Yet you say that we will be outnumbered and lose. Blah! The U.N. and the U.S. will put aside our petty differences and act like grown ups. Its not going to be defeat and humiliation in our face. We will not give up once we get our land back. We don't need the army or marines at home fighting. That's why we have the national guard. Although, having the army and marines would definitely help, but we need them to attack the enemy's homeland, and give us the view of the offensive. We will not be a simple pushover, yet you all seem to think that we will. First of all, nuclear war is beyond comprehension. It most likely won't go the way any of us think, but that doesn't mean that the U.S.A or any nuclear power will be a pushover, including China. But the victor between the two will most likely be the U.S. but China would put up a fight.

Doyle: Like I said, it's all based on government documents. No tinfoil hat on my head.
Crusader: I'm not even going to bother with what you wrote. My advice, take your ADHD medicine, read as much official documentation as is publicly available, read some non-fiction by former KGB, Chinese, U.S. bigwigs and then contribute to the thread.

No you're wrong, only three nations since yesterday have sent a manned spaceship to space. It was on Fox News, CNN, and the BBC this morning. So check with them if you think otherwise. But I myself don't know for sure how many nations have sent "manned" spaceships, satellites, etc... to space. Perhaps Canadians, Japanese, etc.... have had thier people be "part" of a space operation, but only three nations, America, Russia, and now with China, have sent manned spaceships out there. I thought it was more than three too.s4ur0n27 wrote:First of all, Soldier87, I didn't have to search for my info about man in space, I'm from Canada and we regularly send people up here, and I know France does, they have a base to launch rockets in South America, and I know USSR did too, they were the first I think.
