Searching on Google
Why is it when you do a search with google you get a load of links that only have the slightest connection with one of the minor words you entered into your search, but when you reach the last page of results and click on the repeat search with ommitted results option, 9 times out of 10 you'll find what you where looking for on the first page of the new search.

It's just as likely to happen when doing a search for one word, the first few pages are on topic but not what I'm after, the next start to go off topic, by the end I'm scratching my head trying to work out how the link has any connection to what I'm searching for.
The search with omitted results option usually only comes up on the last page unfortunately, just sods law I guess.

No, really, google is the best. Fast, easy, and not a sellout. READ: most searches sell search positions, obscuring your search.
KillaKilla's logic:

DOGMEAT is God. Never dispute this!........ 2. Nobody is perfect
Up and coming hardware nerd.................. 3. Hence I am perfect

Its amazing that this thread is so full of spam-shit. Get on topic you dickheads and spam only in the Wasteland!
That said and back on topic, Google is still the most intelligent engine out there, but you need to understand the best ways to perform the search. If you have a specific term that has multiple meanings, then you might have to add some other word that will help to define what you are looking for.
So if you want a page on the Fallout role playing game don't just enter "Fallout" but enter "Fallout Game Interplay" or something similar. The more words you enter will narrow down the search.

No but seriously, google and all search engines are shit because people are making shitty websites and shitty broken links, thus making you find a LOT of shittty websites.
Just try and type in duck and cover in google.
How many countless shit do you find there?

Which is exactly why you need to add extra terms to limit the search. So if you instead type "duck and cover fallout", this site will be the first one listed instead of other sites having nothing to do with it. This is one of those occasions when a big vocabulary comes in useful?s4ur0n27 wrote: Just try and type in duck and cover in google.
