I was wondering if it was possible editing all the models in fallout 2,
I'm pretty damn bored of these damn clones :evil:
like all the bums in the den :lol: really pisses me off[/b]

they are .frm files, kinda' like .gif files. they are not 3d, and if you do want to alter them, you need to convert them to something editable, and then edit that in a paint/photo program.

any idea where i can find those files or do i need to extract them from some .dat file ? :)

The .frm files for critters will be located in the CRITTER.DAT file.

there should be a ton of converters/extractors. You need something to extract them from the .dat file. and something to convert them to something editable, and finally something to turn them back into .frm's. and maybe even something to turn them all back to .dat files. (which would be the "patch" .dat file)

I know there's an .frm -> .gif converter ('cause .frms are animated in most cases) and then theres a .gif -> .frm, which is essential if you use the first.

I've never gotten any data extracter but fade to work for me. :evil:
can you post a url where i can get those .frm -> .gif, and the .gif -> frm ? :D
