honestly id love to know the chance that someone like hitler would take over the USA in a land slide vote you dildo.
you are so fuckin nuts about not taking your guns away you cant see reason.

and why cant i carry a samari sword or battle axe around but you can carry a gun? its not like im going to flip out with it and kill a plaza of people. im pretty sure people can outrun a sword

EDIT:unless of course they are 400 pounds of shit and then it all comes down to survival of the fittest.

EDIT2: and honestly trythebill, you step out of the USA with a gun and no permits that country recognizes, you are arrested. your rights only apply to the country you are in.

reason? what reason are you supporting? no one thinks any tyrannical governemt is about to be supplanted in the u.s. but people are allowed to prepare for the most outlandish events. Also, would it be so hard to imagine more anti-liberty measures being passed in the name of terror prevention? if they become to strict and take away too much liberty the american people with have an effective voice of dissent.

You know, the German people didn't anticipate Hitler and felt that he probably had a low chance of winning by landslide. Yet low and behold, he won. Wanna know why? He said the things the people wanted to hear and they did what he said. Politicians have a habit of appealing to people and what they want, or atleast what they say they want.

On a side-note, "someone like Hitler" isn't found out to be so "Hitler-esque" until afterwards.

If you mean a Katana and not a "samarai" sword, then I'm pretty sure that you're allowed to carry one so long as you have a permit and such. I've carried mine from point A. to point B. wearing it with no problem and had to go through the military police. I showed my registration and permit and that was that.

The question is, why would you? A gun is cheaper, easier to use, and easier to service. A good functional katana that will last you can cost easily cost you thousands of dollars.

Actually, as for carrying swords around:

I've been to a few dealer shows where people over eighteen bought katanas and carried them with no problem--I don't know about permits or anything, but they were allowed to carry them around so long as they're sheathed.

I've got a question about the CC and whatnot. Say you're near a police officer and some crazy assaults you to the xtreme. Are you supposed to stand down and let the cop handle it since he's right there and it's his job, or can you just whip it out and double tap the nutbag?

Also, who has the authority to get you to reveal that you're packing? Like, who can ask and you have to tell them because it's teh LAW? Contrarily, who don't you have to tell your dirty little secret to?

depends on the state. according to www.packing.org my state law says i do not have to notify my peace officer, but it would most likely be in my best interest to do so.

As to being crazily assaulted to the extreme it all depends on a number of factors, however if the police officer was near enough to reach me within a few seconds i would do my best to hold off the attacker until he tackled him and proceded to shove his nightstick up the attacker's ass.

If an officer asks to search you for some reason or your car you should tell them you have a firearm, just so they don't freak out. If they ask for your I.D. the permit is just as good as your Driver's License. If you are attacked I think you can pull it out and help the officer out, an officer can always use the help of an extra gun.

If the cop is right next to you, as in he can punch you in the face right next to you, then let him do his job. If he's more than 20-30 yards away, than go right ahead and give the cocksucker two to the head. No, better make it three. The cop will probably be cool with this, as you will take the fall for killing a guy, and not him. He will also probably be kind to you, as you have effectively taken THAT perp off of the streets for life. And not "life" as in "life in prison" life (it's 30 years here in New Jersey), but real-deal LIFE. Be proud. You've just done better than the entire judicial system in the U.S. could ever do.

i think the only diffrence german people couldve made in the hitler era wouldve been to present better defence against russians and americans

in canada you cant carry a gun anywhere off your property without a hunting permit and shit and you cant carry a knife over like 4-6inches long. permits are being set up in ontario but no one with a gun would go and get one.

and the american constitution doesnt even have that little clause that the canadian constitution does.
prime ministers can stay in power for as long as they want during a time of war.
