You can't get power armor until you beat the Coldwater mission or the first robot mission(forgot the name think its Great Bend).

It does but the wait is worth it. Power armour is cool 8). But advanced power armour is even better. Kit someone out with advanced power armour, a gauss minigun and a s**tload of ammo and nothing will stand in his/her way.

yeah or you can arm them with a browning M2 and lots of .50 DU...
personally i fing the browning more stylish with its .50 rounds incased in depleted uranium 239....

mmm radioativeness.... hehe...

still if you want damage go the gauss minigun... although it does burn ammo like it mangles bobies...

DU Browning ammo is very hard to come by

If I recall right I only got a small amount of DU .50 caliber ammo at the last mission If I remember right it was only about a hundred rounds

That small amount I burned up in 20 seconds

There are three places I know of where to get .50cal DU

1.Farmer SE(1 bullet)
2.St.Louis guards at the base(5-around 50 bullets maybe depending on how quick you can dispatch them)
3.In Vault 0 power station area(100 bullets, I think)
