I liked Chasing Amy as well as Clerks, Mallrats, Dogma, and Strike Back...

But you guys are forgetting the master trilogy of all time: Jurassic Park!! Oh wait they all suck except for number 1. And you guys know they're making a fourth one? OMG!

Up and coming trilogies:

Blade
Resident Evil
Underworld

Those are all I know for sure, I'm sure there's others like spiderman, etc.

Yeah, but Dogma doesn't fit in with the rest, th only characters that stayed the same were Jay and Silent Bob. More like a quad(logy)?

I fanatically liked Jurassic Park #1. I was like six years old and obsessed with those little plastic dinosaurs, what do you expect? But, yeah, the sequels all sucked, and a #4 sounds idiotic.
suppose you're thinking about a plate of shrimp. suddenly somebody will say like 'plate' or 'shrimp' or 'plate of shrimp', out of the blue, no explanation.

The name escapes me at the moment (fuck, I don't even know if it's a trilogy) but I'd love to get the Musashi Miyamoto story by Akira Kurosawa--basically it's his telling of one of the greatest samurai of all time and the lead-in to one of his greatest battles. And though it isn't a trilogy, I'd like to have Monty Python's Quest for the Holy Grail, Life of Brian, and Meaning of Life.

Karate Kid I, II & III

Critters & Ghoulies series.

Crocadile Dundee and sequels.

I didn't know they were making a second Resident Evil film let alone a third, will the delectable Milla Jovovich be returning?

Ehehehe, indeed starfury, I almost forgot: Critters (which has four parts), coolest horror-spoof series ever. Kicks Gremlin ass.

also, Clerks/Mallrats/Chasing Amy are considered to be part of a "Mallrats" (or whatever you like to call it)-trilogy, Dogma and Jay & Silent Bob are seperate instalments. And as Kevin Smith is droping the J&SB thing completely now...Anyway, so yeah, the classic Clerks, lesser Classic Mallrats and piss-film Chasing "I'd rather be fucked up the ass by a negro than watch this again" Amy are a trilogy.

The Omen series (I' m not sure if there' s only three of them, might be more) is pretty good, perhaps even better than the Exorcist.
Oh, and definitly the Planet of the Apes ones (ok, I know there are six of them).

Going to buy: Indianna Jones, Mad Max and Alien trilogy. Deffinitly.

Karate Kid 3 was the best of the series.

The last i heard it had 5 movies in it, the 4th one was in space which all series need. The 5th one was some time of rap type thing, I never saw.

Rubbish Karate Kid 2 was the best, one of the few sequels to be better than the original film.

But what's his face, Ralphy boy looked bloated and uninterested in being there, plus the plot was worse than the first one. The 4th installment was better than the 3rd by miles.

Though I'm not sure how many Jaws movies they made in the end.
The first Deathwish was an absolute Classic movie, looks slightly dated now but the story is still top notch.

I saw Ninja Turtles I and II, I think they went back through time in III or something that had asian samurais, to freshen up the series. I used to have the second one on vhs, the asian kid who was the main character couldn't act.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles III was horrible...if anything because it didn't have a song interlude featuring Vanilla Ice in parachute pants. And yes, TMNT III was about going back in time and there was a lot of bullshit.
