i love it,nice atmosphere, funky music, good story.
too bad that there are only 13 episodes, the 2nd season isnt out yet

I heard the producing company behind Hellsing is in serious monetary trouble... So there won't be season 2. Ever.

But yeah, Akira was nice. I've read the whole manga series and it was sweeeet.

While we're talking about anime:
Juuni Kokki is nice... well.. I like the theme and story of the twelve kingdoms, but the focus' in the anime is so-so...

Hellsing is nice for its gore, and action, but story imo sucks somewhat.

Akira has by far the best animation I've ever seen. Everything is done with computers now and it looks like ass.

The part of that movie that really stands out and shows how good the animation is to me is when Tetsuo is stumbling around from his headaches out on the street. They got his center of balance spot-on and it looks terrifically fluid. The rest of the movie is great too, but that one scene really jumped out at me for some reason. He's about to fall over then catches himself and it just looks so real.
