That goes without saying. It's like saying "Geez, wasn't it annoying when Ian would shoot you in the back in Fallout?"

It isn't really 1500 pages each... I've read it all and it was more like 200 :/

And yeah, DBZ sucks.

Funny thing about that? I hated Ghost In the Shell as compared to Akira. It just felt like......there should have been more.

that looks good. thanks for the link.

the animation and stories are too different to compare. both good and groundbreaking animation movies in their own rights.

The only thing I know about Hellsing is that its got a character that resembles Caleb from Blood 1.

And that's good enough for me, realy, anything with Caleb gets my approvement.

I'm not overly fucking fond of Ghost in the shell either, though I loved the theme and characters. Stand Alone Complex(GITS-series) make up for it though, they're fairly interesting.

I wont say Akira sucks, because it doesn't, but it sure as hell doesn't deserve all of the credit it's been given.

Amen to that! We want more blood.

And they *do* say "Amen" a lot in Hellsing. In between Engrish, that is.

I still say The Slayers is the best anime ever. Nobody seems to agree with me though.

DBZ sucks. They regurgitate the same retarted content for each episode.

I think most of that has been because it completely changed the way most Americans view animation, and it certainly set the bar for animation quality for any country.

I loved Ghost in the Shell when I first saw it, years ago, dubbed in English. Dubbed, folks. If I can enjoy a dubbed anime, it MUST be good.

Slayers is the one anime I prefer in the dubbed version. Everything else I don't like unless it's subbed.

I refuse to see Princess Mononoke or Spirited Away unless they're subtitled. That goes for all anime I want to see, actually. People who prefer dubbed anime shouldn't be allowed to breed.

I like dubbing if I'm far away or doing something else (talking, eating, sleeping)

I just hate the American voice actors, they REALLY SUCK. Except for Slayers, of course, which has *quality* VA's. Plus, Lina's Japanese voice is whiney, and it makes her sound weak, whereas the American actor sounds like a "stronger" voice.
