There's a room in Klamath, located in the building of the Buckner (where Sulik initially starts. But I wasn't able to unlock the door.
This is a small place full of crates and barrels.
Offhand I can't remember what is in there but if you cant lockpick it or have jammed the lock you could always bash the door with a spear or crowbar & find out for yourself. All you have to do is stand next to the door, initiate combat & hit it. This does not work on all doors but should be just fine for that one & I don't ever recall having folk go hostile for the break in.
"I think you could beat IPLAY up for lunch money and still come up short." -Interrupt
Sometimes the people do get mad if you break the door... But it must be a door that can't be picklocked in peace either. Somehow "flagged" or "targeted" door, that is precious to some NPC (like those twin brothers' house).
I never had luck with smashing any doors with melee weapons, they "didn't even make a scratch" I should try this again.
although nades and explosives work on wooden doors.
Crowbar / sledgehammer works with only the occasional door. It's sort of random really, which is why no one bothers to really do it.
suppose you're thinking about a plate of shrimp. suddenly somebody will say like 'plate' or 'shrimp' or 'plate of shrimp', out of the blue, no explanation.
I especially disliked it because it was early in the game. And I hate the early stages of Fallout games. You're so... vulnerable. Real cocksucker.
The middle part of the game is the best time, when you're hanging out with your buddies in your metal/combat armor, playing with your hunting rifle and drinking rotgut... Ach.
Anyways, if you get a message "Didn't do a scratch" it propably means there's no way you can knock that door down. That's the way it is.
