Check this metal band out
The bands name is B L A Z E
The band is fronted by ex Wolfsbane/Iron Maiden singer Blaze Bayley
They have been around for a few years now. I got into them last year when their 2nd album "Tenth Dimension" came out. Their songs have a futuristic feel to them. If you go to the website you can check out some of their songs. I would reccomend you check out "Stare at the sun", "Silicon Messiah" and "Kill and Destroy"

is that supposed to be symbolic of
"? And The Mysterians"
that was psychedelia/garage rock and although some suggest that metal bears its roots from mid to late 60s garage/acid/psychedelic rock the Mysterians were mostly a garage rock outfit and never evolved past that unlike acid rock legends like blue cheer who paved the way for zeppelin, deep purple, and sabbath
