I vaguely know the story, but could anyone point me to a link with explciations or could anyone sum it up chronologically please?

What happened after BG2? How did IPLY die so fast?

I don't think anyone has written the twisted history on a website but it wouldn't be a bad idea for someone to show the chronology with game releases, staff changes, etc. Although I don't think anyone cares about Interplay as whole - maybe BIS?

sometime during the 80s - interplay starts
after 1995 - interplay make fallout
around 98 - interplay sucks
2004 - interplay gets bought by ea so we get yearly doses of fobos

scroll down a bit and read the mission statement:

Mission Statement - INTERPLAY is a project to provide and support integrated play and leisure opportunities for young people between the ages of 2 - 19 who have special needs, within the area of South Wales.

Sounds about right, kids with special needs and mental handicaps will be buying F:BOS

good job at your multi-faceted approach to marketing IPLAY, really pays off, i'm sure the Welsh will be glad when fbos ships

Looks like TORN would have been a NWN with actually some rpg element in it.
